My 1st, biggest question is why was the officer confronting your kids? What happened that he needed to talk to them, and why were they being detained and questioned? What were the events leading up to this encounter, and how did your boys respond to the officer when he did confront them?
If you are sure you are getting the straight dope on what happened then you've got to have reliable corroboration of what the officer is accused of. Dash cam footage, or reliable witnesses, something. I'm a cop, and don't want to make trouble for other cops, but I get tired of a few over-amped, power tripping goons making my job harder because the public won't trust the rest of us due to their actions.
Now, is it just their word? We deal with some really unpleasant folks, and kids that age can be mean nowadays. I have dealt with some truly vicious little punks that came from good homes, and we just can't tell by looking which ones they are. Make damn sure that they are being straight with you. It sounds like you have some good boys, but I am telling you the truth, sometimes kids will surprise you about what you don't know about them, and how their perception of things can color the truth. I am not implying anything, but I have seen situations like this go wrong for parents. If you've got some witnesses that can back your kids story, then by all means, try to get the officer reprimanded. We don't need officers who really do this type of thing in our ranks.

Did you witness the event? Or are you taking the boys' word as gospel?
Dig for the facts, Dad, and then decide what (if anything) to do. Been there, done that...
Many cop cars have video recording equipment. These systems are not accessible by the patrolman though some can turn them on and off. You may need a subpoena in some jurisdictions to get a copy of it, but it's well worth asking.

Get an attorney, file an official complaint, show any injuries that occured, and make a case against the police department for abuse of minor children. Also, call the newspapers and stations and try to get them interested in doing a story about this. If you cannot afford an attorney, call around to find someone who might be able to help you find a free attorney. there is help out there, but you will have to make a commitment to getting this particular cop in trouble. good luck!

You really need to get all the facts from your sons. If they seem reluctant, or tell you to forget about it, they're probably trying to hide something. But follow through anyway.
File a complaint in writing to the officer's superior, the Mayor's office, municipal council, etc. Definitely involve an attorney--many offer free consultations. Take pictures of the boys' injuries, and be sure to get them treated and examined by a doctor--the doctor's report will also be needed.
Sounds to me like a case of "contempt of cop."

You should grab the cop and slam him face down in the pavement if he did this to your son.
But unfortunately the cop would shoot you dead, or put you in prison for a long time.
Unfortunately police are allowed to beat children and innocent people and no one can do anything about it.
You won't stand much chance fighting the cop in court.
If the cop continuously abuses your children. You might sneak up on him with a baseball bat and beat the **** out of him.
Make sure you're wearing a hood when you do it.
Otherwise he will probably continue to abuse your children and there's nothing you can do about it.

Make sure you have pictures of the injuries. Contact Child Protective Services, have them interview the boys. If you get the State involved then it will definitely be "over" that officers department's heads. Document everything. Hire an attorney. Have your attorney work with CPS and file charges with the DA against the officer and his Supervisor..... I hope this helps....

regrettably Greek police are no longer experienced properly to handle many circumstances (which contains riots). it rather is tragic that a 15yr previous replaced into killed and that i'm hoping that officers might have the flexibility to unravel this without corruption and distortion in touch.

file a complaint definetly...i'm a Pre-Law major and u may actually have a case against the officer....it is very true that police officers use their power to intimidate people....let ur sons know their rights and what he did to them was completely out of line....
