Flour is whole or parts of a grain/seed ground into a powder. Used as main ingredient in baking.

White plain flour is bleached wheat flour. They also have unbleached wheat flour, whole grain wheat flour (uses the whole grain which all-purpose flour does not), bread flour & cake flour (which have other ingredients besides wheat).

Corn starch is starch extracted from corn, it is used to thinken sauces, broths, and such.

There is also rice flour, buckwheat flour, rye flour, pumpernickle flour and others.
