Wrong Agian!

Muhammad never had Christian friends. There is no word in the Quran that can be translated to say Christian in any language and the same goes to hadith.

Ignorant Muslim and Christian scholars have used the word that translates Helpers to interpret it as "Christian" in order to bring some warped kind of closeness between Islam and Christianity, but, sadly, this never works with Allah.

The Helpers were of the Children of Israel just as were the Penitents or Yahuudi and Muhammad would have never known that there were such people called Jews around because he knew them as Yahuudi or Penitents.

If these Christians and Muslims you mention would only try to be honest about the Scripture they will have a better realtionship but ignorance is a disease. You cant build a relationship on lies and hypocrisy.

Christianity, if you understand Islam, was born from the Hoax of the Crucifixion in which Two thieves Crucified Jesus were named Jesus for the Hoax.

The Hoax may have been hatched in Jerusalem but Christ was long gone from the scene of the crucifixion before the Two Thieves named Jesus by the crosses they bore with the inscriptions that identified them arrived at Golgotha.

Read The Age Of Reason and see the beautiful Hoax of the Cricified Thieves Jesus.

Well, you're part right. TRUE Christians, by definition, love everyone. Anyone who claims to be a Christian yet hates anyone is not a true Christian. So by definition one is not a Christian if he hates Muslims or, put another way, he's (or she's) a Christian in name only, not in fact.

Supposedly, if you believe the former "leader" of Iran, the same goes for Muslims. He says that any Muslim who kills in the name of Allah or hates in the name of Allah is not a true Muslim. Problem is the way Islam is designed it is almost guaranteed to cause the sort of problems we are seeing today.

Let me give you the simple version of the creation of Islam. As I do, think Jim and Tammy Fae Bakker. Or maybe Joseph Smith.

Mohammed knew this rich widow who owned a lot of good real estate & businesses in key cities in what is now Saudi Arabia. You know, hotels, restaurants, etc. Problem was business wasn't very good - nobody much had any good reason to come to these places. He saw how Christianity was really taking off. He saw how popular Jesus was and how places Jesus had been became tourist meccas (get it, Mecca?). Like John Lennon (get it?), he was a bit jealous of Jesus' popularity. So he decided one day to start preaching himself - set himself up as a prophet - and since he felt he was wiser than Jesus,.he pointed out that he, Mohammed, was the last true prophet - anyone else coming along after him was false.

His religion has simple requirements (the property of the widow he was seeing is referred to here as "HIS"):
1) You have to come to Mecca at least once in your life, if not every year, and while there stay in HIS hotels, eat in HIS restaurants, buy your clothing and other items in HIS shops.
2) You must either convert or kill every non-believer you encounter.

This simple plan ensured that the religion would spread, one way or another, and he would become rich and famous. It worked.

Oh, and this solves the paradox of how you can be a true Muslim and SEEM to hate others. You don't hate them, that is not why you kill them. You have to kill them because your religion states you must convert or kill them.

Actually, Islam has nothing to do with the Jewish faith. It is true that the Arab nation can trace its heredity back to Abraham, but not all Muslims are Arab, and not all Arabs are Muslims.

I don't recall any time in history when Islam and the nation of Israel ever really got along. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to the time and place this peaceful coexistence occurred.

Muhammad may have known Christians, and I believe his father-in-law was a Christian, but that didn't stop him or his followers from slaughtering them throughout the Middle East.

The Quran teaches Muslims that they are to either convert, enslave or kill "infidels". I think that is a bad thing, don't you?

The Crusaders started this

Arab Muslims & Christians & Jews were living peacfully in the middle east before the Crusaders came. but then the Crusaders killed not just Muslims & Jews but also ARAB Christians

what about spain?? the Muslims were ruling it for 800 years & the Jews escaped from the rest of Europe to spain because of the tolerance of Muslim rulers, later on the Spanish Christians killed many Muslims & kicked the rest of them

it`s the European (& now American) Christians (most of them at least) who has this desease called hatred for other faiths, not Arab Christians

It has to do with intolerance and hatred, not religion. Hateful people will hate, whether they express it by religion, politics, race, or gender, hateful people do hateful things. I've even seen posts here where people use science to express hatred.

The enemy of hatred and intolerance is acceptance and respect. You will find this also in Christians and Muslims both if you look for it. But you will have to look for it, only because hatred makes headlines, acceptance doesn't.

Yes you are right. The bottom line is thatt islam and christinaity or in fact any other religion or philospy in this world teaches you to be good to yourself, good to other people and good to god, if you believe in god. i don't quite understand what you mean in "but that is the people who do not obey the rules of they religion and doing something bad" . If you mean that people who hate others don't obey the rules of thier religion, then i to a certain extend agree with you.I think you shouldn't judge a peron by thier religion like the proverb don't judge a book by its cover because if you judge people by thier religion then you are certainly creating tension and trouble, you are being narrow minded. However i think it is not to do with any religion or anything like that. It is to do with misconception, misunderstanding and yes to a degree the media potrayal of the religion. When people don't understand soemthing, they would feel either curious or threatned and that's why people start hating each other. I am a muslim and i don't hate any muslim or christian, i am close friends with christian people and muslim people and we get along reasonaly well, none of us feel the need to hate each other, if we hate each other it will only be because one of us got better marks at school... most important of all don't judge people by thier religion or culture in fact don't judge them at all because we as human beings don't really know other human beings, we can't judge them becuase we don't know thier true character only god knows them well inside and out and what would happen to them after death, in afterlife (in slam we believe that they will be judgement day ). I migrated to Australia and when i came here it was a little bit difficult for me to realise that other people feel threatned and insecure of me becuase in the media they see that muslim women wear long black dress and the men kill each other and hate other people and christians. In summary, islam and christiannity teaches you peace and to do good things in your life sincerly. If muslim people hate christian people and vice versa, i think it is primarly due to misconception, people feel threatned and ignorant by other people culture hence arise the need to blame and hate.

All God fearing people must not hate each other. I, as a catholic, I never hates anyone, a muslim, christian or a member of any other sect. What I do hate is the evil that is within them. It is the root cause of all chaos and terror in this world.

Christians are ignorants and that is why they hate Muslims. Muslims hate Christians for the same reason every other religion hates them, they are self centered morons.

They're incompatible religions. Christians say Jesus was God on Earth and Mohammad was a false prophet. Muslims say Jesus was just a regular prophet and that Mohammad was God's chosen prophet.

Basically they both inherently deny the validity of the other.
