One of my good friends as acted different around me lately. Last year she would talk to me, steal my hat on occasion put her arm over me every once in a while. Then I come back to school and she rests her arm on my knee, steals my hat and wears it for as long as she can. Gave me a new necklace when my old one broke. I put my hand on her shoulder and she flat out hugged me. Once, I had a small hole in my shirt and she starts ripping it wider. Doodes on my notebook. But my diemma is that she does hug some other of her friends but not nearly what ive been getting. Constantly smiles.

The thing is thatis she just being more deeply friendly or does she like me

and i have no idea how to ask her if she does

YES, SHE LIKES YOU! YOU DON'T NEED TO ASK HER! JUST ASK HER OUT OR ASK HER TO WRITE YOU A NOTE!

Called just ask. Simple is best and when other influences are not around(Such as people and friends). She might be on the other side wondering the same things. Some people are more touch friendly but it seems like you two have a good start of a relationship.

She likes you. Maybe all the joking around is to cover up her own nervousness in telling you. Try go along with her playful acts, but maybe up-the-ante a little bit and see how she reacts. She may let her guard down and give you a better indication. I think (with respect of course) this is a much more fun way than to point-blank ask her about her feelings.

Invite her to do something fun outside of school hours and then go along and enjoy yourselves and see where the trip takes you. If it is just friendship it will become apparent the more time you spend with her, or she may just want to keep the friendship at school. If its more then spending fun times together will bring that out as well. But dont stress over it!

well. i don't really know where you live( a good thing lol). but maybe people in that area are very friendly. but there actually may be something that she wants.
u can ask her by getting alone and putting her in a comfortable deposition and asking her straight out.
who knows she may be being friendly or there might be something to start!
good luck.

my HS english teacher had a book...or so i thougt. On the cover it said, "everything men know about women" and it was a big book, but there was nothing in it...just black pages, pages and pages of nothing. this is what i think of when you ask this question. people are hard to understand. but if you truely are interested in a relationship, ask. the worst that could happen is to say no.

Confront her already, she is waiting for someone to make a move without looking slutty. Make the move and tell her how you feel about her. You never know until you try. Don't have any fear. She could be paying more attention to you for a reason.

are you really sure that her treatment with you is different with her other guy friends? do you feel something extraordinary for your friend? maybe you can tell her in a joking way. tell her, "hey, i appreciate very much your sweetness. and i don't mind people thinking that we are more than friends. how bout you, would you mind?" if she reacts negatively, then you got the answer, she's just caring to all her friends.

Sounds like she likes you. Ask her out on a date and see how she acts then.
