I didn't want to give my reasons, because I didn't want ppl to get all upset. I like Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro because they make thought provoking, profound, and intelligent movies that really touch your heart. American movies, for the most part, are thoughtless, soulless, 'popcorn' movies filled with explosions and bank heists, and while I'm not saying I DON'T like that type of movie, I don't respect the actors of those movies talents, because it doesn't take any talent to shoot at aliens, scream, and show your boobs on film. Sorry, no offense.

i like many actors but i would have to say that Tom Hanks is just an outstanding actor. he's played many different roles and has done them all exceptionally well. i used to work with one of his cousins - she told me that he is an amazing person and never does he forget family. she sees him every two years at a family gathering - it's tradition and he always attends. he doesn't act in any way the big star that he is - he just a normal person that happens to have a very busy job.

sidney portier, because he is an amazinig actor as well as an amazing human being. He is the same person in work as he is in real life. That is something to be proud of. Most people could only aspire to be this way.

Viggo Mortensen (aragorn - lord of the rings). He is an established actor, painter, poet, musician and photographer (not in that order lol). He is also a political activist who is involved in his community.
I just admire him because of the amount of talent he has for all of his chosen fields.
