Yes, but I wouldn't recommend one of the ones you see on TV, I won't name any names, but I just attended one this summer, while I was working full time. Too expensive and pell does not cover tuition (I was only taking two courses). Depending on where you are in your educational pursuit, I'd recommend you check out a local community college, they usually have good online programs that are convenient, and since its a CC pretty inexpensive. I have done this before, and used a pell, I had more than enough funds for for a full load (12+ credits), and books, and received a refund.

I got Pell grants doing the University of Phoenix online. But...in my opinion, if you're going to get an online degree, get one through a reputable school. Any accredited institution offers financial aid and financial aid gives out Pell grants to those who qualify. Realizing UofP was going to do nothing for me, I dropped out and am now working on my degree through Penn State. Honestly, getting a Pell grant is easy if you qualify whether you go to college in person, or online.

It's best to enroll in a junior college, universtiy or state college and take their online courses that they offer. I remember reading a article saying that not to many companys look at online degrees in the same way as they look at degrees from accredited college when apply for jobs.

Call the Junior Colleges and Community Colleges, in the city where you live, and ask them if they have online classes, if they don't ask if they have suggestions for you.
