I've got to some with dates and I've gone to some alone. The second option, choosing to go without a date can be and actually IS a lot of fun. You dont' have to have someone's arm to hang on to to have fun. I always thought that if you coudnt' get a date, you were just supposed to get a bunch of friends to go along with you. I went to the prom my junior year with a bunch of my senior girl friends that didnt' get dates. It was a BLAST. Although I think for my prom, I'll find a date.

if ur trying to go for a real dance, then with a date, but just to hang out with friends and stuff, without a date. but usually with a date is better because u can be with someone different for a change and maybe a hook up or a kiss.

Without a date is more fun, because u get to dance as long as u want without worrying about ur date.
but when the slow dances come on, u want to kick urself cuz u see everyone dancing with their date.
at my old school, everyone would go to the dances, with or without a date! but now, no one will go to the dance without a date! its stupid cuz i want to go with my friends, but they dont want to go if they dont have a date. idk why its so important to people.
but for prom, u should get a date if u really think that is what will make u happy, but either way, u will have loads of fun at the dance, with or without a date!!! :)

They can be becuase i went with my best friend to the prom and me and her had a blast and took mad. pictures with boys and our prom picture we found a really cute boy to take our prom oicture with so you dont always need a date sometimes you just need a good friend.
