I just dont get it. My ex and I had been dating for two months and he told me he loved me but I never said it back because I felt obligated to say it. One night we were talkin and I had to get off the phone and he wanted me to tell him I love him and I didn't because I didn't love him and he got mad. The next day he called me at school and left me a voicemail breaking up with me. He said it just wasnt working out the way he wanted it to and then I heard from someone else that he just didn't like me and wanted someone else to begin with. Do you think he was just trying to get into my pants or do you think he's trying to cover something up?

the basis of all male attraction is physical, so deep down there wouldve have been some part if him that would have liked to get into your pants. maybe he though saying that would help with gettin that. thats only one theory though. maybe he felt embarrassed that you wouldnt say it after he did. so this annoyed him. he didnt see the point being with you, so he broke up with you. saying that he wanted someone else to start off with, is just him trying to get you angry and hurt you.

He was probably wanting to get into your pants, depending on how reliable the person who told you that he didn't really like you is. He probably used the whole "you don't love me" thing to end the relationship.

He may have been looking for love and needed you to say you loved him, every guy wants to hear it, it helps us wake up in the morning, and when we don't hear it, we get confused and angry (because guys don't like being confused) and he may have thought he could find a girl to 'lie' to him, my oppinion, never say "I Love You" If you don't mean it, because then it will be just a lie.
