ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! It is never OK to hit anyone! No matter if your male or female!The only time its OK is if your the one that got a belt first.Then you beat the hell outta them!But that is not acceptable.I would like to know why the hell he thought it was even OK!Never be friends with a person like that.I was in an abusive relationship for 4 months cos I was too scared to leave in fear of what he would do.But I got brave & left.I still had to see everyday.We had the same friends but I had nothing to do with him.I never spoke to him.And if it was you who got the belt you should do the same.If you stay friends with him it makes him think that what he did was ok.And its NOT!

No way! That's assault and battery. If it were me I would file charges and put his butt in jail! No woman ever has the right to be hit, but same goes for the guys. I have known some battered guys in my life.

Okay did you hit him first? It's never okay if a guy hits you. Don't ever talk to his a** again. If he hit you, you forget him. He to much of a low life to hit a female.

That is not OK. That is assault and abuse. Seek assistance from a women's shelter or hotline. Look in the phone book for a good referral number. It is not ok to stay friends. Who is to say he will not become more abusive.

what.. you are kidding right? hitting is NOT okay from either end of the relationship I say.. If and ONLY if he sincerely apologizes without you asking him to is he worthy of being your friend otherwise.. cut him out of your life, you dont need people like that dragging you down
