Tape it in place for now until you can see a podiatrist. I dislocated a toe about a year ago, and didn't go in to see a doctor for over six months. My podiatrist said it will probably never heal. So my toe will "drift" forever because I didn't take care of myself when I should have. I would not recommend that you do the same.

I've broken 3-4 toes and dislocated many of them. Stop training for a week if it really hurts, no running no training no pushups nothing. If you don't take care of it initialy it will become a repeat injury and you don't want that in tournament. After your toe is better, slowly start training again but keep it well tapped and wear comfortable shoes the remainder of your day. If possible, take off your shoes at work and let your toes rest. The main thing is to give them time :)

Why don't you call your nearest emergency room and ask to speak to a nurse on duty? I've seen people who didn't get treated for broken fingers or toes, and they healed at an angle.
Yours may just be dislocated, but I would want to be sure. Good luck!!

Buddy Tape it to next toe. That is what the hospital would do after charging you for the visit and x-ray. Keep it stable for about 2-3wks and it should be fine. Can take Advil for pain.

If you're not days away from a hospital, you should just get a doctor to put it back in place. If done improperly, it could result in permanent damage and affect your walking/feet.

If you JUST did it, it's best to go to doc's or emergency room. If they fix it up properly within about 90 minutes you have best chance of not getting any arthritis or other problems later.
