What is the size of a swimming pool that you would find at a typical YMCA?

Trying to determine how many yards would equal 1 lap?

That is a tough one, most YMCAs have a budget based on grants or money raised for the project. I have seen some pools that are extravagant with slides, waterfalls, special stuff.
Then, other YMCAs have just a pool for laps or a small pool just to have one.

it depends but at my ymca it was about 15 yards
