Is the guy married? Is he very sick that he's gonna die soon? Are you related to him by blood? Is he going far away far you?
If your answer to all the above questions is NO, then u have nothing to be concerned about. All you need to do is get his no. or email address and constantly communicate w/ him Try to know his interests.Gain his trust and take it from there. He's not that too old for u. When you reach ur mid-20's, a 7-year gap is nothing important as long as u love each other and u have common interests.... I hope u are his type, though...

When I read the question, i thought you were talking about some 80 year old man. 25 is not old. Unless you have other objections to him, or he feels that you are too young for him, 18 and 25 would go absolutely great together. There is no reason to cry about your situation. You've found a man you really love, and you are old enough to be able to date him (legally). You should have a HUGE smile on your face. Go out with him. And don't listen to silly people who say he's too old. For you, he's perfect :)
Good luck.

I don't understand why you are so upset over 7 years? I married a man 20 years my senior.....We were together for 12 years, & no it didn't work out, but that was due to circumstances, not that we just suddenly stopped loving each other....Age is truly a matter of mind......It's what you have in common that counts!

Why do you think hes too old...that's only 7 years older than you are. You're 18, you're legal...age is just a number, if you love someone it shouldnt matter how old they are. In the end you'll still love that person.

That's not too old, though maybe he's already been to college and worked for a few years-- you might have different life experiences but I don't think you can NEVER be together. Why not date and see what happens?

Who says he's too old? If you two agree that you are right for each other and you both treat each other good then what's the fuss? Try not to be too emotional. Think this through.

What has given you the idea that he's too old anyway? Has he said so or refused to see you? Maybe that's just an excuse... maybe he's just not interested... maybe he's married! IIf the idea is yours alone, quit crying, find out more about him, and go for it...slowly!

What? I was 34 and took my wife to her senior prom, and that was 16 years ago. Who knew or cared for that matter? If you think your peers are going to think less of you because of age disparity, it's time to get new friends.
