Lots of my friends tell me that i m too picky in choosing my date or bf.. Do u think its ok to be picky & how how picky is too much?!

Be picky all you decide on!! a minimum of you will finally end up with somebody which you would be properly suited with. Too picky isn't giving every person of undertaking, fairly if he's a very nice guy. you would be ok, and don't hear on your persons.

I think it's different to have standards and to be picky. Picky is looking at every little thing instead of seeing the person and the things they have to offer. Having standards is having things that are important to you as a person and are are important to you in life. People sometimes confuse the two. But I think it's wrong to be picky but standards are okay.

Yes it's OK! How picky is too much? Depends of how fast
you want that BF, if you can wait couple of years then you can be very picky, if you can not wait 2 hours then you can not be very picky.

It's fine to be picky, your the one that has to date them right?
There are a lot of times in my past I wish I would have been more "selective" with my choices.....It probably would have saved me from some of the heartaches I went through.
As far as how picky, well only you can answer that question!

A person who's picky is typically petty. Knowing what you want in a relationship and not settling is not being picky. You just need to have an honest conversation with yourself and analyze whether you're putting up barriers to avoid intimacy (not necessarily sex) or have you just not met that person who does 'it' for you.

I think picky is good. You shouldn't settle and you shouldn't suffer. But no one is perfect, surely you know that? I think you are unreasonable only if you don't know any of man who possesses the qualities you want. IE, you're dad's honest and kind, your friend's husband is tender and sweet... I mean, we are talking about qualities, right? I had a roommate in college who was expecting a tall gorgeous hunk who would sweep her off her feet in some fairytale way. This man was supposed to cook like a gourmet, bring home 6 figures, treat her like royalty and be impeccably dressed, mannered and principled. On top of it, he should be Catholic, better-educated than she, older than she, want the same kind of house, cars, furniture, number of children, names for children...guess who's 35 and goes on first dates only.

I think people mistake being selective, wise and not dating every guy you meet with being picky. If you date every guy you meet that leads to a lot of mistakes and "what the hell was i thinking?"
