what would be great gifts to buy for our groomsmen- I dont want to get "engraved flasks", or "money clips" as I've seen over & over in catalogs- what do you think? (we're getting .25 ct. diamond earrings for our bridesmaids)

Couple of good anwers so far.
Men do like gadgets. Maybe an iPod loaded with some great tunes.
How about an engraved pocket watch they can all wear at the wedding?
Or a list of the phone numbers of the bridesmaids, even if it were fake it'd be pretty funny.

All my Groomsmen were business people, I ordered them engraved Business Card Holders from us.

DVD players. Digital cameras. PS2s. something electronic. guys love that stuff and they will find it a lot more useful than a money clip.
Just don't give them batteries until AFTER the reception.

What greater gift could you already have given? The fact that you have already made someone part of one of the most memorable part of your life, should be thanks enough. Buy them a round of drinks or maybe toast them. Friends always appreciate being acknowledged.
