Ladies If someone where to ask you on a serious note what makes a great man what would you say?The reason why i am asking this is because I want to be the best guy i can be with my girl friend. What do you think?

A great man to me is a man who understands it all. Someone who understands my moods, will accept me for my faults and love me for being me. I want a man to let me be independant, yet comfort me when I need it. I want someone who knows that I love daisies and yellow roses and will park on the side of the road to cut me down some wild flowers just cause he thought of me when he saw them. I want someone who calls me to say hi, text messeges me to say he loves me and isn't annoyed when I want to have "me" time as well. I want a ma n who can provide, is serious, yet funny and knows when to be either. I want a man who is steady, someone I can count on and someone who can keep a job. A man who drinks away his problems and does drugs sux! Just a great stand up man, who you can take home to mom.

well, First of all that is great that you are asking that making a good start. Always being there for her but never smothering women need to be able to trust there partners don't tell her that she can trust you show her,, If you really care for her and wont to have a committed relationship show her that. Women wont to know that you will make them safe.. So that means that you need to show that you would be a good provider for her if you all ever got married,, And to do that always be committed if its is sports a god or her never late her down.. I would say, good personality, treats his girlfriend with the highest respect at all times( she should be the same way), humorous, friendly and just a good person in general. Us women tend to think that looks and pocket change is what makes a great man I don't believe that is what makes a man great.

You have to please yourself not somebody else. If you have to go to great lengths to get somebody to like/love you, they do not really love you and all your effort will be for naught. Take ad\vice from this lady here and realize that you have to love yourself first and in your mind be the great man you want to be. It will come in time. Best of luck.

Be a good listener always be truthful make her happy by saying nice things she wants to hear.Never disrespect her.Always say you love her,cherish her in every way you know how to be best of luck to both....

you would always want to be HONEST......be your own person and let her be her own person....be friends first and like each other. treat her with respect, kindness, smiles, love and tenderness....be funny, laugh a lot, do little things for her....suprise her.....show compassion when she is upset, but the bottom line is...always be honest......you can never take back a lie....removes all trust and without trust, you have no relationship...my very best to you!
