Yes You stuck a hole in a part of your body that wasn't really designed to have one at ..... I have had mine done twice and yes it is kinda like surgery a little bruising is nothing to worry about just keep an eye out for puffy and red then your talking an infection

They pierced through a blood vessel, and you had bleeding under your skin.
If it gets worse
Get it looked at by your doc.
