Add intensity and mix up your cardio activity. Walking is not as effective for weight loss as other cardio activities because you aren't really challenging your body (heart, lungs, muscles, etc.) like you should. Walk 5-6 days a week and really watch your diet. Nothing less than 1200 calories a day, cut out refined carbs and sodas, eat plenty of fruits and veggies (high in fiber), lean meats, low fat dairy and drink 2-3 liters of water a day. Try to eat every 2-3 hours to keep your glucose levels balanced to reduce insulin spikes which result in fat storage. Good luck!

You have been offered some good suggestions here. For weight loss distance and time seem to work better than speed. Also, walk more than once a day - it can be for shorter periods but for at least 30 minutes each time, and maybe 4 or 5 times a week. Record your food, and calories burned through exercise (links will help with this) to be sure you have a "calorie deficit". Begin a weight lifting program. Drink lots of water.

wear clothes that will allow alittle breathing but not alot something like a sweater and sweats, if you live in a hot place like florida walk at dusk or dawn alternate the intensity for best results like start out slow then jog then run then jog then walk eat a little carbs before you excercise this gives ur body enough energy for the workout...drink plenty of water before after and during ur workout always stretch before and after the workout
