If your husband is in the Masonic Lodge you should. It is their belief and my father and mother were masons and eastern stars and their daughters also were into eastern stars. My father was buried as a mason and had a mason funeral with his apron on. It is very private and I do believe it is their belief and religion. Not everyone can get in to this affair.....Thats all I can tell you...

This is a good organization. Many years of history here and in England. (Girl version of The Masons). Not just anyone gets asked. You must be pretty good people. Try it out, and if you don't like it, you can quit em'.
My grandma and aunts were all Worthy Matrons in the Eastern Star club. My uncle was a 32nd degree Mason and was always present at their meetings. They raise money and donate to various charities and causes.
You may find the assn. rewarding and like it.
You would certainly be surrounded by the finest of people.

I joined the Eastern Stars and I was excited at first but as time went on, girlfriend !!!! Time wasted. I did not get anything out of the meetings, the marches,the head honchos. The olny thing I liked was marching around the tables. Please, find another organization. The ones that are secret, let them keep the secret.
