i'm concerned because i don't want him to get an STD...i realize he's an adult. But it is wrong to have se*x before marriage but now days nobody cares. Do you relize that he could get an STD, aids, anything thats why i;m concered i don't want him to get a life threatening disease. and for all you who think its ok to have se*x b4 marriage u'll all probably die from some std, protection doesn't always work you know!!!!

Geez, call Lorrana Bobbit why don't you. Take a chill pill and make sure he is 100% educated about sex and all the possiblilities and/or consequences. I'm a guy and I'm sure my mom was worried too but she didn't attack the whole World Wide Web about it. She just had faith in me and trusted my judgement as a young adult. Now I'm almost 25 and still never had an STD or any kids making over $70,000 a yr. Now all the girls wanna have sex with me but because she taught me to have respect for myself I don't pay them any attention Hopefully you taught your son the same thing.

so you think just if he waited until marriage he wouldn't get an std? if you want him to stay safe than talk to him about protection not abstinence he is an adult and telling him not to do it is only gonna make it worse

well, I had sex at 17, and ended up marying the person, we have both only ever had sex with each other, and where exactly does STD rank as cause of death anyway.
