Robots don't have feelings. There are a lot of joys of self-esteem and self-confidence one gets from doing what God tells us to do. And those who believe in God and are righteous and believe in heaven, have much more of a psychological advantage than those who don't. Following what God tells us to do helps us gain a lot of self-control, and those with the greatest self-control are known to be the most successful at whatever they put their mind to.

Well, first let me say this. God did not make us robots. He made us Humans. We have free will! It is up to us to make our own decisions. So many people think that God uses us as puppets. That is so not the truth. If it was, why would there be a Heaven (if one believes that) or Hell (if one believes that)? What is the reward for doing the right things and what would be the punishment for doing the wrong things if God "uses us as robots". What would be the point?

God doesn't tell us what to do. It's when what we do gets us into deep trouble that we need to ask God to help us out of the mess! We all have free will to do what ever we want. As you can see by watching the news there are millions of people who choose to do many different things. The real question here is "What are you choosing to do?"

The truth is, the Lord gave us the will to do what we willed to do. (thus we have people like you to question).
It is our will, that we do evil. God created us to fellowship, to be his friend. But we choose instead choose to go against him.
We need not do what the Lord says before we can earn his love. He already love us. But as friends, we do not want to do things that will hurt him, thus in his love, he gave us guideline.
Do what the Lord says is not like taking instruction like I-Robot. But rather as a friend, we are in unison with him. We learn how to be good.
Cheers,.

No, by listening to God you are being faithful to Him. Would you like a husband or wife that didn't listen to a word you said?
God seeks a relationship with us, and He sent Jesus to provide the means to achieve that relationship. Jesus died so that we could call on Him as our personal savior, and confess with our mouths that He is risen by God, in order to know God and to have eternal life through Him.

No, because you still have free will to disobey. This is what seperates true Christians from the hypochrits.

a robot has no thoughts, frankenstein is just a myth and christians are just obeying thier Father. if you believe in God, you want to please him. it is a choice, not a demand.
