Keep in mind:
1. Not everyone who claims to be of a certain faith are true believers.
2. Everyone makes mistakes...even Christians.
This does make me sad, however...as "Christians" who answer like this make other, true Christians look terribly like hypocrites.

Anyone who does not love regardless of race, ethnicity, language, and religion does not follow the teachings of Christ and doesn't know the lord. I'm catholic and it's funny that the most "Righteous" people are the crazy ones. Islam teaches peace and people are blowning up cars and shrines and killing innocents. Catholics preached peace and love and the Inquastions happened. Jews preach love and they stoned whores and people who stole. The message is always messed up when left to man because he thinks that he is reading "between the lines".LOL How does God tell Jews, Christians and Muslims to live in peace and love each other and No one is greater but we don't do that because that's not what God meant like he made a mistake and he doesn't want us to live in peace. LOL We are all brothers and sisters. Same origins Same God why not love him and each other like he has told us. Stop discrimintaing because he said don't do that. Dont hate(he never said it's ok to hate) and He never said it's ok to kill innocents(nowhere in the quran, bible, or torah). Stop putting your own spin to religions, FOLLOW WHAT YOUR BOOKS SAY.

I do not know what question it was that you asked so I am going by what you just said on this one. It looks like you lied to see if you could get people worked up and are trying to justify it as saying it was a practice question. You must think everyone on here is stupid if you think we can not see right through that. Since you like quoting about things in the Bible here are a few others- Thou shalt not lie. If you purposely cause someone to stumble (lying to them to get them worked up) you also will be held accountable for their actions. Do not judge or ye shall be judged with the same harshness. I am just going by what you have put on this question, and yes Jesus does teach us to love one another. I think I have done a good job of justifying myself. Take care.

Yes, the Bible teaches to love thy neighbor as yourself. But no one is perfect on this Earth. God knows that and realizes that everyone will make mistakes. The only thing that a true Christian can do is to recognise that and repent when he/she stumbles.
You need to know though that no one has to justify themselves to you because of that. That is between the individual and God.
Obviously you have a problem with the Christian faith in general or you wouldn't have posted this question. The only thing I can say to you is that God loves you and is waiting for you to recognize that He is the way, the truth, and the light and when you do realize that, He will be there and welcome you into His loving arms.

Just because a person is a Christian, it doesn't make them FLAWLESS. And if someone came up to you and said "I hate you, just because you believe what you believe", wouldn't your first reaction be an angry one? Obviously you've had some bad experience with either church or a specific person from a church that made you feel like this. You're just frustrated with yourself and taking it out on an unfair target. Plus, the size of a person can be determined by the size of the things that make him mad....think that one through......(and I don't need to justify anything, the bible and christianity can defend themselves without my help)

Yes, as a Christian I do love all people and I want everyone to go to Heaven. People get this idea that Christians are judgmental and that we try to force our religion on others. We aren't trying to be judgmental and forceful, we are only trying to do what the Bible says we should do as Christians. We are supposed to go out into the world and spread the Gospel and try to win souls over to the Lord. It's our job as Christians to do that. But, there are some Christians that go about it the wrong way. They use judgmental remarks and they get hostile when people refuse them and that isn't the way to act. If someone refuses the Lord, I just pray that the Lord will speak to their heart and hopefull they will do what they feel they need to do.

First of all, we don't have to justify ourselves to you. Secondly, if you ask a stupid question that isn't really a question for the purpose of attacking someone else because of their beliefs, you should expect to receive some return-fire. The Pharisees (the religious people) asked Jesus questions with the intent of trapping Him with His own words, but it always backfired. Jesus loved the whole world enough to die on the cross for their sins (yours too) but He doesn't take crap off of anyone. We shouldn't have to either. You want a respectful answer? Ask respectful questions. Righteous indignation is still in style.

yes, but we are also taught that sometimes - you just have to shake the dust off your feet (ie leaving all traces of them behind) and walk away. try as you may, sometimes you just can't get through to people. Jesus also once, showed displeasure in the temple with those making a mockery of His Fathers home.
Christans aren't perfect, we all falter and make mistakes. when you are constantly baraged with numerous idiotic questions and comments, sometimes your feelings get the better of you. Thankfully that is when we take a step back, breathe deep and ask the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts. As an Rcc, i will often make the sign of the Cross, asking God to fill my head (thoughts, ideas), my heart and my actions.
PS - don't recall seeing that question and i try to watch for those about the Rcc.

I was not one of those people but I will say this: I am a Christian woman and I do apologize for my brothers and sisters in Christ who responded in the flesh and not with the heart.
Now as for the Love part. You should not blame them for responding like that. It just shows you where they are in their walk with Christ. Some of us have a long way to go and there are some of us who have even a longer way to go. We are all at different levels in our walk. Although they may have believe they were defending the honor of their religion, they may have also deterred someone from finding out about Our Lord and Savior. We have to pray our brothers and sisters in Christ to have a better way of expressing their views with out offending anyone. That is what LOVE is about. Not seeing the wrong but embracing it and show them the agape kind of love by not responding to the flesh but to the spirit. This is how you know what to pray for in a person with out judging them either. BTW you dont have to tell them you are going to pray about that which you saw in them you just do it. It is not your power or might but by HIS SPIRIT that things change.

You're partially right, we are supposed to show love towards all people, including our enemies. But that doesn't mean we sit back and be wimps and disregard challenges to the life we have chosen, which your previous question most certainly did.
Your question was hostile, snide, rude, and derogatory towards Christians. And yet you complain because they didn't sit back and take your insults like spineless jellyfish.
No need for any Christian to justify themselves in the light of your snottiness towards them. You have made your choice, but you will one day bow your knee to Christ. I pray it is in this life, while you still have time to be saved, instead of right before you are sent into the flames of eternal torment.
The example was clearly set by Christ...if we find ourselves in the midst of people that do not recieve us, we are to "shake the dust off our feet" and depart from that place. There is also the allegory of not casting pearls before swine. Bottom line, I refuse to justify myself to you. It is you, rather, who must one day justify yourself before Jehovah God, and again, I pray you will be ready, and the only way you will be is to turn from your ways and accept Christ into your heart.
