I've used it about 4 times and haven't had any damage. The highlights you get are not extreme, they are supposed to be subtle, that's y u only leave the highlights on for about 15 mins. and the second time around you don't highlight the same area...chances are you won't be able to pick out the exact strand once you redye. for touch-ups you don't do highlights anyway they can be done every other time since highlights tend to blend eitherway.

I have used it a few times-have had no problems with it, but I like to use a highlighting cap for the second process-you get more even highlights that way. (at least I do) The coloring is very gentle. As long as u follow the directions-u should be good to go.

No u dont end up with damage, ive used it 3-4 times. Very easy to use and more than half of the price slashed off when u consider how much u would pay for the same process at the hairdresser.

If you are talking about the colorant with the highlights - yes its double processing.
And yes - the lightening stuff will lighten existing highlights - that just got covered with a fresh coat of hair dye.
Its not super-harsh - so if your hair is healthy it shouldnt be too bad.
I would not use any hair colorant over really bleached hair though - your bleached hair becomes porous - and the new color doesnt attach evenly - it turns out blotchy - and on blonde hair - anything with "ash" (i.e. light ash blonde, med ash brown) turns a lovely shade of hunter green! [ yes, I found this out the hard way!!!]
You can buy a porosity corrector at Sally Beauty supply - and it will really help with this.
Otherwise, wait until your damaged hair grows out before you try it.
Good Luck!

It'll only damage your hair if you do it too often, but that's what it's like with any hair products. Just make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair. Your colour is less likely to fade that way.
