First of all you need to get rid of all the smells in the house because she'll keep going back to them.

Then what you need to do (when you're home of course) is keep her in the room with you so you can watch her. When she gives signs that she needs to go out, go out with her, tell her "go pee" and the split second she pees, give her lots and lots of praise and come straight back in. This way she learns to differentiate between play time and potty time.

You can't scold her for accidents unless you catch her in the act, then tell her no very firmly and take her outside. If you give her lots of praise, and don't give her the opportunity to make mistakes, she should learn quite quickly.

Until you have her turned around, you do need to have her in a crate when you're not home, though. Good luck with her.

damn, I've never heard of potty training a dog. You mean you actually want the dog to use the toilet? I'd settle for just house breaking the dog if I was you. Get a book on taking care of your dog....

Wanted to add a couple thoughts:
1. having a violent nature and self-important attitude makes us feel justified in being annoyed with the most ridiculous things.
2. talking to little plants can help to undo self importance.

I thought you potty trained kids not dogs. But as far as training him not to pee or poop in the house then you should try puppy pads, when the dog acts like she has to pee or poop put down the pads and let her go on that and eventually she will learn to go outside.

OK IT TAKES 3 DAYS TO HOUSE BREAK A DOG. AS LONG AS THE DOG IS OLDER THAN 3 MONTHS. SOME DOGS GET IT SOONER. BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALLOWED THIS DOG TO "GET AWAY WITH IT" SOOOOOO LONG WE WILL NEED TOUGH LOVE. START USING A CREATE WHEN YOUR OUT AND EITHER SLEEP WITH HER OR CREATE AT NIGHT . WHEN YOUR HOME WATCH HER LIKE A HAWK OR LEASH HER TO YOU AND DONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!. YOU HAVE TO STAY OUTSIDE WITH HER UNTIL SHE GOES. SOME TIMES IT MAY TAKE20 MINUTES. I FIND IT GOES FASTER IF YOU PLAY BALL OR FETCH OR SOME RUNNING GAME. DONT GO IN TOO SOON. STAND FIRM!! THE FORCE IS WITH YOU ! :)

I HAVE HAD A LOT OF DOGS AND HOUSE BROKE THEM IN A DAY. YOU HAVE TO BE FIRM AND DO THIS:
SOUNDS BAD, BUT STICK THEIR NOSE IT THE MESS, THEN DON'T PICK THEM UP, BUT FIRMLY TAKE THEM BY THE COLLAR AND WALK THEM TO THE DOOR, AND OUT THEY GO, BE CONSISTANT,

IT MAY HELP TO CONFINE THEM TO A CERTAIN PART OF YOUR HOUSE,(WITHOUT CARPET) THEY WILL LEARN TO STAY IN THAT PARTOF YOUR HOUSE, AGAIN FIRMNESS IS NECESSARY, AND WHEN THE CROSS THAT LINE, USE A EMPTY PAPER TOWELL TUBE, AND HIT THE FLOOR, NOT THE DOG. THIS MAKES AN UGLY SOUND THEY DON'T LIKE.

YOUR IN CHARGE, AND MAKE THEM KNOW IT!
