I had a crush on a guy at work , and then I found out he's gay!! he found out I liked him and I asked if we could be friends( after all, gay or not, he's still a great guy) he said we could...so, did this ever happen to any of you?? and if yes, how did it work out??

Yes - and gay guy friends are like the best girl friends you could ever have. Just be careful and don't expect more - he is GAY and he won't change. Don't go into this friendship expecting to change him. Be a true friend and be accepting of him and he'll be the best friend you've ever had! Good luck!

haha no. i liked a guy from work asked him out *yes i am the man in the relationship, not literally* and he said yes. so i got half of the criteria. you will still be able to be friends, gay guys make GREAT friends im not kidding you! go shopping with him.

never happened to me, but a lot of my friends have guy friends that are gay and they really like hanging out with them

Almost but he was my friend. And knowing he's gay I couldn't muster any courage to sound him out. I fear rejections..but I'm glad I didn't cos he's really only into guys. Come on girl, there's many other straight great guys out there!

i have a lot of gay friends and they are great people so you should keep him as your friend .sorry you did not know him before he was gay.

when i was in 5th grade i had a crush on the paper boy. turned out he was gay. afterwards i was so embarrased i couldn't even speak to him anymore.
