Ok I know it is 3 weeks, but I might have missed her 1st day, I tried to keep an eye on her In Aug cuz I knew that is when she would go in heat, The first day I noticed was on Aug 21, Monday, Not sure If I may have missed her 1st day, during the weekend, busy on weekends, So my question is how do you know when she is not in heat, I don't want to let her outside by herself because Of big dogs around, She was mated when she stood for dog, So if she is pregnant it is kinda hard to tell if her cycle is over.
Please only no harsh answers if you wanna tell me to spay my dog, Don't bother answering, but if you are here to answer my question, pleeese do.

when she is out of heat the discharge will be gone and her vulva will go back to its normal size. It swells when they are in estrus. If she is pregnant the vulva will be enlarged You will see her teats swell as well. She will start to fill in around her hip area. It takes about 61 to 63 days for the puppies to be born. If she did stand for the dog to mount her it was most likely on the 11th,12th, or 13th day of estrus . She would only except the male while she was ovulating. She will go back into estrus 6 months from the start of the last estrus, not from when the puppies were born. puppies should stay with mom until they are 8 weeks old. So 2 months pregnant, 2 months with pups, gives you about 2 months before her next cycle. The vet can do x-rays when she is about 35 to40 days into her pregnancy and be able to count puppies, if there are any. I hope this helps. good luck

Normal cycle for a dog is 28 days, but they can go a little longer sometimes.
With my feild trial dogs I normally just figure that they will get a month off when they go into heat. (do not put my dogs into water when they are "open" because of the chance of infections)

BETTER KEEP HER IN AT LEAST 3-4 DAYS AFTER THE LAST SIGN OF BLOOD. AND I SPENT OVER 1000. TO BREED MY DANE AND I WOULD NOT LET HER OUTOF MY SIGHT.FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH AFTER MATING. AND IF YOU WANT PURE REGESTERABLE PUPS BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.
