Speech therapy works I believe. I have a friend who is 13 with a lisp, and it gets a bit annoying, making her sound very young.

Hi there! Have you ever seen a speech therapist? They're great at working with speech difficulties. If it's not due to a physical issue, I would seek that out. Also, I'm not sure if you're parents have insurance that would cover that, but usually the school you are in can help out or the local Department of Human Services free of charge. Good luck with it, and keep your head up! It will take time, it won't be overnight, so don't expect it to be. Just keep trying, and you'll do just fine.

it takes practice. like the others who say speech thearpy, i agree. it does work. i had a talking problem since i started to talk. and got better after having speech therapy until the 4th or 5th grade. i am now in 10th grade. i still have a talking prblem but it's not as bad.... one reason why i have a talking problem is that my mind/thoughts go faster than my mouth so then words and senteces don't come out right or at all. my parents say that my talking is better understanding when i was sick cause the sickness slows down your thoughts

Your school nurse can refer you to a speech therapist within the school system and it won't cost any money. My daughter was cured of a lisp by the speech therapist.

yes, speech therapy. A lisp is just a lazy tongue. Obviously when you started to speak as a child you were never corrected to say words properly.

Just get punched a bunch of times until your lip is so swollen that no one will understand you.
