I would like opinions on which service to joinf for reserve force. I am an associate's prepared RN. I know army would allow me to be an officer despite my associate's degree, but I am unsure if the other services would do that. Any info would help! Thanks.

By the way, the reason I want to join is I feel I do not do enough for my country and the US military. I am currently a civilian working in a military hospital. I want to do more.

Look into either the Navy or the Air Force. Talk to them about joining the Reserves, and let THEM send you on for your Bachelor's degree. Both branches require a BSN to be a nurse.
Good luck with whichever you choose.

I finished 11 months in Iraq back in May. I was assigned to an Army Reserve hospital. Unless you enjoy being treated like shite DO NOT join the Army Reserve. I don't know if the Air Force will accept two year RN degrees but if they do join them.

Luck

As a former Officer (USMC) I for sure would in the beginning recommend the Marines, even if, to change right into a pilot you'll favor a 4 year degree (ER is tremendous), then get common into OCS, then 6 months on the standard college in Quantico, THEN flight college, once you've a flight settlement. your height will be a situation as you have to be a minimum of 5-7 or 5-8 (won't be able to undergo in recommendations, yet they have a ridicule up cockpit that you sit down in, and degree in case you could attain controls, etc.) after 2 yrs flight training, then 3 interior the fleet (lively), you should pass into the reserves. undergo in recommendations it takes a lengthy time period. The air stress would have similar criteria (note to the Naval academy and the Airforce Academy NOW, even in case your grades more beneficial positive be strong!) Will they pay for faculty, confident in case you get a NROTC scholarship, keep your grades up due 2 summers at OCS etc. seek for suggestion from from each and every of the amenities, the U. S. military has an spectacular Warrant officials application for starting to be a Helo pilot

HI, I know that the Navy, and Air Force will allow you to join, but none of which can give you a higher cash bonus, than the army reserves. They can also pay back up to 65,000 dollars in student loans. If you want to Join the reserves, the Army is THE BEST way to go...

Try the Air Force for sure. No matter what, you gotta complete your BS as soon as possible - otherwise you are dead end.

talk to other recruiters and play one service against the others.

i am anti war, but pro military, because they allow me to tell the world what a jerk bushole is.

i laud your intent. get every promise in writing, if you have to write it in the margins, do it.

when the recruiter says you can't do that, say you can't sign if (s) he can't put these promises in writing.\

period.

please consider 20 years.
