Sure. It's a relatively simple process with some training and practice.
The key aspect is to be able to use some form of inner journeying, controlled daydreaming, hypnotic trance, meditation -- whatever you call it, the basic process and effect is the same.
Using the trance state, you go into yourself and connect first with the higher self within you that will help you relate to your guides. This is an important first step, because connection to yourself keeps you in balance and lets you judge the validity of information or adviance you may receive from external sources.
Then, you can repeat the process, connecting with other aspects of yourself, or other higher planar guides. The key is to always keep your intent and your focus, and to not be too blindly trusting.

Everyone who has a Guide (because not all people have them) is likely to receive some form of communication, if appropriate, and if they seek it from their heart.
The Guide is unlikely to speak in words. Most often the Guide will simply let you feel, or sense the answer, through your own feelings and thoughts.
The simplest way to do this is, to formulate yourself a straightforward question before you go to sleep in the evening. ... And see how you feel about the issue the next morning.
Some people believe that Jesus helps them with the answer. It does not matter what who believes in. The important thing is to ask for help.
However, there is one important law in spirituality which must always be adhered: Treat your fellow human being the way you would want to be treated in their place. And I would add, treat animals with the same level of consideration and respect. If you live up to this, you are likely to be rewarded with continued clear guidance.
Some people are good at using pendulums. But this is not as easy as it may seem, because many rules apply. The most important rule is that you cannot force an answer, and if you insist, you are likely to be given a wrong answer. Should you ever try using a pendulum, your first question should be whether your Guide is prepared to answer your question.
If your Guide gave you always all the answers, where would there be space for your own learning? Life is but a string of tests and lessons the purpose of which is people to become better, wiser and more pure. In that respect, they are expected to be working out their own answers.
If you want to read how I received guidance, you may visit the Dhaxem website. I had to earn it.
I hope that this is of some help.

I sincerely hope you won't seek advice from anyone who claims to be able to foretell the future. At best, such claims are fraudulent and you will only be wasting your money; at worst, you could find yourself entangled with occult spiritual powers that will deceive and harm you.
This is why the Bible repeatedly warns us against any type of occult practice. The ancient world was filled with all kinds of superstitions and occult practices, but God's people were warned not to let themselves be influenced by them. The Bible says, "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist, or who consults the dead" (Deuteronomy 18:10-11).
Instead, I urge you to turn to God and seek His will for your future. God loves you; He loves you so much that He sent His only Son into the world to give His life for your salvation. Why not trust your life into His hands? By a simple prayer of faith ask Christ to forgive your past and come into your life today.
Then commit your future into His hands. I can't promise all your problems will suddenly go away—but I do know this: It's far better to face the future with God than without Him. Don't follow the wrong path in life, but follow Christ instead. You'll never regret it.

Aren't you a little old to believe in fairytales? This isn't a smart remark. Seriously, there is no ethereal presence out there that is going to tell you how to live your life. You can spend years looking for it, and thinking that you found something only to slowly realize that youve been wasting your time. There is no quick easy way out. There is no fairy godmother. You have to get down and live out the life that you are given. Search your soul for your answers....no where else!

If you close your eyes and imagine something, who is looking at it. it is true that there is a metaphisical ( beyond physics) world, but there is really no true way from the truth, everything would be chaos, we need religion to control the people.
