If you had been flirting with a girl for a while, asking each other personal questions about your life, likes, dislikes..etc...and then after talking about previous relationships she suddenly says that although she was very attracted to you that she just got out of a relationship and she wasn't looking for a man because she needed to figure out what went wrong and how she contributed to it.....would you take it personal and think she was rejecting you?

The #.1 rule when it comes to getting along with women.Never and I mean NEVER EVER talk about previous relationships. She will act all interested in what went on in your past and then once you tell her she will drop you so fast. That is just how crazy women are when it comes to other women. They do not like to be "compared to" in any way. They can sense, your boasting or pride in something you have done with another girl (especially if it is sexual) they can sense it, like a shark smells a drop of blood 100 yards away.No I would not take it personal, just write off as a lesson learned the hard way.

Well, if she wants to reject you, she won't tell you that she just broke up with someone, right? She just want to see you act. Some girls think they're somebody special, and they don't want to let guys lay their hands on them so easily. I would tell her I'm just looking for a friend too. Just treat her very special like a lover if you like her, but always tell her she's just your best friend. Just don't show any signs of sex, don't touch her, not until she says something different. Do anything to to please her, but confused her as well.

No, because she need to get over her last (so called) love, she just needs to feel better about herself first. But still be friends with this girl, because something might spark later in the future.

I'm not a guy but I understand. I don't think you should take it personally and this actually could bring a good friendship to a start for she is opening up to you.

Kinda. It might feel like she lead me on. So if you are going to be gentle and make sure take he knows you are telling the truth not just blowing him off. Tell him he'll be the first to know when your ready.

She is rejecting you. If this were her true feelings she wouldn't have been engaging in the flirtatious behavior. This is known as being a ********* and its not something decent women do.
