I bought a sponge at WalMart's pet department that is made for getting cat hair out of furniture and clothes...and it REALLY WORKS!

My old tom would shed enough fur for another cat in a week. You could brush him ALL DAY and you would always have fur building up on the brush. So the furniture was a MESS. I mean, you couldn't sit down anywhere without getting covered. And since he was grey, it showed really well, too.

But the sponge got it all. You just brush the couch with it dry, and it rolls the hair into a tube, which you then pick off.

They sell this thing that looks like a yellow sponge, kind of. I don't know the name of it but it is made specifically for pet hair removal and works wonders on materials like microsuede. You can call around at petstores and ask if they carry it to keep from having to drive all over town.
Hope I helped!

companies that detail automobiles run into this type of thing all the time - you have to do the work in stages - first the trusty vaccuum.
- a shop vac with a crevice tool is best - forget the nice soft brush.
Then, as people have suggested, start using the sticky tapes like Duct tape, wide packing tape, etc. and things like the bricks and brushes with one way bristles used to remove fuzz balls from sweaters. Finish off with a final application of sticky tape.

I bought something called Pet Sponge at my local hardware store. It is a very dense sponge that you brush across the couch and it collects the hair. It is used dry and it collects the hair really easily into clumps that you just pick off the sponge and throw away. I don't know what it is made of but I love it.

I personally use lint rollers, tape, and the vacuum. I got a bottle of Arm & Hammer Pet Hair Remover Spray on clearance and it works pretty well. It helps eliminate the static bond between the hair and the fabric, making it easier to vacuum the hair up.

I personally want to try one of those Pet Hair Magnets. You can see one here;

Yeah, like the others have said, use tape.... but also a lot of vacuum cleaners come with a smaller brush/vacuum head that is used just for that purpose - furniture, car seats, etc. - very effective.

There are brushes used to %. up lint and cat and dogs hair off your clothing it has sticky tape and rolls. you may want to do this yet I even might want to confess having 5 cats myself that attempting to shop cat hair off the settee isn't attainable in assessment to dogs who might want to be experienced to stay off furniture cats are more desirable autonomous and could do as they please. No cat hair on the settee will surely be a temporary fix trust me it truly is going to reappear interior the day.
