When I was in the 7th year of a relationship, he went into army as well and sorta proposed to me..not with the rings but getting some commitment from me. However, I knew clearly that its too early to agree so I told him what I feel in the most natural and honest way. Things like I do love him but I feel we have a long path ahead.

Alright, its gotta do with personal belief as well, I'm one who want to mean what I say and to do what I say. It's like words make law for me.

Hope what I shared may help you!

then don't. Tell him that you're way to young to be married. You want to go to school, get an education under your belt and have a good job before you get hitched and end up with a bunch of kids (I'm a little dramatical, but you get the point).

If you get married so soon, you may regret it later. These "youth" days will never come back.

Enjoy what you have now, don't ruin it.

Just because you say yes to marrying him now, doesnt mean that you have to get married right away. Just tell him that you dont want to get married right away. Just get married when you both are ready, not when it is him being ready, or when it is you just being ready, you both have to be ready.

Take it one day at a time. You can always tell him you need time but reassure him clearly that you love him and want to be with him. If he loves you, he will understand that it is a big decision, not to be taken lightly.

Marriage is not as simple as you think. Both of you are still young . Stayed as friends, time will tell whether both of you love each other that much.
