Fried Ramen Noodles. boil noodles for 2 min, remove and rinse with cold water to stop cooking process. mix the packet with about 2 tbls of water and one tbls of soy sauce and set it aside. Get a pan that noodles will fit in and add a lil olive oil and brown some garlic and onions, Add noodle and packet mixture and stir fry it for about 2 min, all done, Meal cost you bout $.50 total and taste great. I like to top mine with green onions and a lil Asian hot sauce

My favorite "poor mans meal" is lentils. I put water in a large pot on the stove to start it boiling. Cut up 2 stalks of celery, a handful of baby carrots, and chop up 1 medium onion. Put all of these in the pot of water. Then get the lentils out of the 1 lb. bag, check for any bad ones or rocks. Then wash 3 times. Add these to your vegetables cooking in the pot, salt to taste. Cook for 30 to 45 minutes on medium heat, til everything is done. This will feed 2 people for 2 meals and costs under $1.00, I love it! I went to Ask.com and put in "yaki meat" and found several links to same. I hope this helps.
