Grapefruit juice inhibits the P450 enzyme system, thus delaying metbolism in the liver. Citrus juices don't inhibit this like grapefruit juice. That being said...a few medicines should not be taken concurrently with citrus juices. It varies so check a drug book to make sure.

some meds are cancelled by grapefruit juice, i would assume its best not to take them with the acid type fruits.

No - it's not all citrus juice, just grapefruit juice - and not very many medications are affected by it.

grapefruit should not be drank while taking beta blockers deadly combination. it sucks if u like grapefruit like i do but i cant have it anymore. my pharmacist said its OK with other juices just not grapefruit.. when in doubt always ask your pharmacist.

no, just grapefruit. it lets off something that rev. the affect of a med.

It is best to take ALL meds with water.
