A crime is a crime. Prosecute or sue for the crime. We are getting into real danger when we presume to prosecute on the basis of what we think the reason for a crime is. Thought police?

sorry but so called hate crime is a conveniently used
ploy - when no other charges generally would even hold up

its extremely difficult to prove and unless there has been some sort of overt action, more often then not its usually a situation where
someone was demoted or fired or chastised or penalized for a minor transgression.
That person feels as though they need to retaliate and their only recourse is to to claim it was a hate crime

Usually just people looking for something- anything to
nail their boss or company with

Well I've been through people making racial slurs at me even until this day. I am in High school and still people are immature about oher race. to answer your question, i would do what anyone else would which is to tell someone. wether it be my parents or my friends. if i tell the school they never really make a big deal about it unless if i get hurt by the person who is making the comments.

I was a white boy that grew up in a predominately black neighborhood, there wasn't a day that went bay that I didn't have to run from some black bully. When I went to my teacher about it she accused me of starting it. Blacks are just lucky I didn't join the klan

i grew up in a Porto rican neighbored hood in Chicago. 5 Porto rican girl's wanted to jump me because i was white with blue eye's. they wouldn't fight one on one, they all wanted to jump at once. nothing came out of it, just them getting there as ses kicked by there parent's. by the way the asian people are the only one's i found to be nice.i've never had any trouble with the asian people.

my friend was picked on really bad by a girl twice her size when she was in school. she was really scared. she said she did the only thing she knew to do and that was to pray about it (bless your enemies). she said after a few days of praying that the girl just suddenly left her alone and never bothered her again.
