why would judaism and Islam refuse the cocept of the Trinity if they worship the same God who created the Universe!

if God is the father the son and the holy ghost ALL in one?! then how come the Jews dont believe such? they supposedly recieved the message before Jesus even came into existence! right?

what happens if Christians find out that the Trinity concept is false?? what would you do?? are you gonna leave christianity and convert to whatever religion or become an Atheist?

and why do Christians think that they are the ONLY ones going to heaven according to the "salvation plan"??

what happens to ALL those other religions? are they gonna go to hell for simply not believing in the Trinity which was not mentioned by God in ANY of the Divine scriptures?
Trinity is not even in the Bible!!!

Look with yourself. Be open to the possibility that you are connected to the Universe. Listen to the Universe and the world around you.

If it answers, then you will believe in God.

But remember that your path is only ever going to be valid for you. Everyone else still has to find and choose their own path.

#1 Because they don't accept Jesus as the Messiah

#2 Because they don't accept Jesus as the Messiah

#3 I have never heard of that happening...(A christian not believing in the Trinity) However, There is evidence of this in the old testament as well as the New Testament. But no, If I dissagreed with the Trinity I would not become an Atheist.

and why do Christians think that they are the ONLY ones going to heaven according to the "salvation plan"??

#4 This is of course a debatable point, however I believe it because several verses suggest that.

what happens to ALL those other religions? are they gonna go to hell for simply not believing in the Trinity which was not mentioned by God in ANY of the Divine scriptures?

#5 According to most Christians...yes. (not that I'm agreeing with you the the trinity is not mentioned in the scriptures)

Your questions seem to be the questions of a Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, or prehaps a Muslim. If so I suggest:

If you are an Agnostic, I suggest reading "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel, "I don't have enought faith to be an atheist" and "The science of God"

"why would judaism and Islam refuse the cocept of the Trinity if they worship the same God who created the Universe!"

The concept of the trinity contradicts the Jewish teachings of the oneness of God, and Muslims also believe in the oneness of God, that God has no kin or kith.

"if God is the father the son and the holy ghost ALL in one?! then how come the Jews dont believe such? they supposedly recieved the message before Jesus even came into existence! right?"

The concept of Jesus as son of God was borrowed from the Roman concept of Caesar as son of God, I read a Newsweek article about archealogists that found an artifact that proves this.

"what happens if Christians find out that the Trinity concept is false?? what would you do?? are you gonna leave christianity and convert to whatever religion or become an Atheist?"

Many Christians convert to Islam. And many Atheists look upon Islam as one of the most progressive religions, in many polls.

"and why do Christians think that they are the ONLY ones going to heaven according to the "salvation plan"??"

Because of the book of John chapter 3, verses 16 to 18.

""what happens to ALL those other religions? are they gonna go to hell for simply not believing in the Trinity which was not mentioned by God in ANY of the Divine scriptures?
Trinity is not even in the Bible!!!"

Exactly.

You are right about one thing: God did create the universe. He always has been, and always will be. Don't try to figure this out, our finite minds cannot comprehend an infinite God.
Judaism is the result of the traditions of the Jews, God's chosen people- the country now called Israel. One example of God's omnipotence (and love for His people) is that no matter how many times the Jews have fallen apart as a result of their disobedience, God always brings them back together. He made a promise to them, and He never breaks a promise.
The Jews do not accept Jesus as God's only Son- they just keep up the ordinances that God commanded of them back with Moses. God ordained things such as the Passover and the lamb to symbolize Jesus- the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Islam is a whole different story- that was a religion started by a man who wasn't satisfied with something or other- do some historical research, you'll see. They are way off base. Don't be deceived- the god of the Muslims is not the same as the God of the Jews and Christians.
God is three in one: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is another thing that is hard for us to conceive. I'm 14- I haven't gone very deep theologically into this, but I just accept this as fact.
For me there are two things that convict me that there is a God, and that He created the earth, then came down to pay for our sins.
1. Look at our beautiful world. Can you believe that everything- from the largest galaxy to a tiny atom- just happened? The "Big Bang Theory" is a hoax, and it's not scientifically. If you start getting into this deep with a scientist, he'll admit all the faults in the theory. I find it much easier to believe that there is a God, and he lovingly and tenderly pieced me together- body, mind, and soul. The human brain is so complex, that it is impossible to completely understand it- that is how great our God is!
2. When people get saved, they get changed. When somebody believes that God is the creator of the universe and that He wants to be your friend and savior, and when they put their trust in Him and invite Him into their hearts, there is a peace that fills them that is indescribable. It is a wonderful feeling to know that Jesus is your king, savior, and friend, and that you are on your way to heaven. I can't imagine a life without Jesus- not being sure of surviving tomorrow, and what happens after I die. But friend, I do know that I have eternal security. But if you don't, and you die in your sins, I can tell you where you are going. If you think that the Bible is a bunch of fairy tales - and it's not, it's the God-breathed truth - you may be going to hell first class.
Please email me. I don't want you to go to hell, and neither does Jesus. If you get in touch with me and ask some more questions, I'll talk to my family and the people at church, and I'll get some answers. I'll also direct you to some free aniline resources.

You are pathetic ... However, I'll give you my answers :

1. God does not need anyone to prove His existence. The simply fact that you are asking for that says that you are on the wrong track, beware.

2. Dogmas are different in each Religion. You simply cannot ask Judaism and Islam to believe in the Holy Trinity of Christianity, otherwise they would deny their own religion so then they would not belong to that anymore.

3. The Holy Trinity is one of the Dogmas Christianity is based on. There are cases of punctual Jews (in the modern times as well) that have converted to Christianity. Jesus came into World to fulfill the Old Testament and the Prophecies, not to deny them.

4. If you have strong Faith as Christian you simply cannot find out that the Trinity concept is false. By the way, you cannot reach the understanding of the Holy Trinity with the human logical mind, that is why this is a DOGMA that has no need to be questionned or explained, you simply believe.

5. Christians are not the only ones going to Heaven, but they have primacy among others because Jesus Christ is the one who died on the Cross for the sins of ALL HUMANKIND. That is why He is the Final Judge, and not Buddha or any other religion founder.

6. The Holy Fathers (generic name for the ancient priests and especially monks) have writings saying that everyone will be judged in his own religion, by its precepts, and if he does not confess a religion, like Atheists, for instance, then they will be judged by the Civil Laws they were supposed to obey.

Good Luck in your search, and God Bless !

This is a huge topic and a lot of questions... but one thing I will say for certain: The trinity IS mentioned in the scriptures. Read John 3:34-35, where all three members of the trinity are mentioned. (this is just the first place I happened to find out of hundreds in the Bible) Then in Genesis, God says, "Come let US make heaven and earth..." He's talking to himself there, and he uses the word us.
Christians are not the only ones to get to heaven- those who belive in God are the only ones to get to heaven. He opens the doors of his eternal paradise to those who have rested their faith on him, out of his infinate mercy.
If I found out that the Trinity concept is false, (which couldn't happen, since the Bible is our guide and cannot be changed at this point), I would most certainly start over and re-locate the truth. I don't stick to Christianty as a religion- I cling to it as the only possible truth out there. I want truth, and I've found it here. (not to mention perfect peace and everlasting happiness)
You have every right to be confused and frustrated about this. I'm so glad someone's asking the questiones and thinking about it- so many others would way rather just ignore the whole issue.

Too long dude. I assume you have a problem with the trinity...shorten the lecture!

OK. Here goes.

1. Islam and Judaism assume that the Trinity means that we worship 3 Gods. We don't. We all worship the same God, but sometimes with different names.

2. Why don't Jews believe in the Trinity? Because they are hard headed. I don't know, go ask one. Probably because it sounds like we worship 3 Gods, as I said before.

3. The Trinity concept is not false, that person would just have explained the concept wrong.

4. I personally don't think that only Christians go to heaven. Why would I think that? It's just more simple to follow Christian rules and such. If you are a good person I hope God doesn't turn you away...I don't want to spend eternity with some Christians I knpw.

5. No. If they are good people God will understand....of course it would have been easier on them to be Christian, but that was their choice. God sees your heart.

The trinity is a very easy concept if you will not get hung-up on false teachings or hard to grasp concepts. Let's look at this problem in a different way. I am a man just one man not three this is very easy to prove by simple biology, but I am a father, brother, and son one person three different roles. God the father, Jesus Christ the son and savior, and the Holy Spirit your ticket to heaven. You have to believe in these three people or roles to go to heaven God is the maker of all; Jesus Christ is the savior for all who believe and ask; the Holy Spirit is God living within you when you accept Jesus;this is the only way to heaven.

Ok let me take a shot. You should become catholic by the way.LOL but anyways john3:16 he begat his only son. Jesus said he was on the same level as God and that through him and him alone can you go to heaven. The trinity is in the bible but not all together. It say of God of course. Then it tells of jesus. Then when Jesus went back to heaven he would sent the holy spirt which is basically the essence of God to man. They are on the same level. They work as a unit the same body. We don't say Jesus made the world. We don't say the holy spirt made th world. We pray to God ,ONE GOD NOT THREE our book says the only way to get to God is through the son which is Jesus, so we pray in JESUS NAME. We ask for the holy spirt to come over us and counsel us like Jesus said it would do while he is gone. Thats why in genesis it say let US make man in OUR image. Look it up. Jesus said he was there before the world was made and the is greater than all before him. If we find out the trinity is false? the only way to find out is to die so then it's to late to do anything. Chirstians shouldn't think we are the only ones going to heaven because people who are ignorant can't be punished for stuff they don't know. Other religions need to pray for wisdom to find out what God is trying to tell them. Jews put jesus to death condemed him and he did nothing wrong ,then deny his divinity and he even said they would deny him. They also said he worked with the devil after all the miricales that he did then betrayed him. They don't believe he is the messiah and some think he is evil and some think he doesn't exist. Gal 1:6-9 says that if man or angel was to lead you away from these scriptures or tell you different let him be condemned. So for muslims to say the angel gabriel told mohhamed something completly different from the bible then that hits that verse right on the head and then for people to say different have not read that verse. Your faith gets you to heaven I think and your own personal relationship with God, No matter what you are as long as you live a just life and keep love in your heart for whoever. How could God be mad at that? It says he is an understanding God so he already knows how you feel and what you think so just admit you need help and he will make his TRUE way clear to you. For it is said if you pray and ask for wisdom you shall get it.

One perspective on the Trinity is that it is a misunderstanding of some of the quotes in the Bible. There are a series of quotes that would suggest the Jesus and God might be one:

John 14:9 - "He who has seen Me has seen the Father."
John 10:30 - "I and My Father are one."
John 14:11 - "I am in the Father and the Father in Me."

However, the concept of His Holiness the Christ and God being one does not explain other quotes in the Bible like:

John 14:28 - "I am going to the Father, for My Father is greater than I."
John 5:30 - "I can of Mine own self do nothing...not My own will, but the will of the Father which has sent Me.
John 1:18 - "No one has see God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared him."

If Jesus and God were one then the second series of quotes could not be explained.

One way to reconcile the quotes is to think of His Holiness Jesus as a perfect reflection of God - the perfect image in every way. If God is like a Sun and Jesus a perfect mirror facing the Sun then when you look at the Sun and the mirror you see the same thing - the perfect image of the Sun. That does not mean the Sun decends into the mirror or that the mirror is made of the same substance as the Sun. However, for all intends and purposes They are One.

Is this concept supported at all in the Bible? There are some quotes that use this same concept.

Col 1:15 - "Who (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God..."
Heb 1:1-3 - "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person..."
2 Cor 4:4 "...lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

That's it. Take care and great question.

I am a Christian, and I will stand flat-footed and tell you the trinity concept is falst. There is nowhere in scripture that shows any trinity. There is only ONE God. He has revealed Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in salvation, but He is still only one almighty God. See Deut 6:4. The trinity did not come into being until the Nicene Council of 325 AD. The only plan of salvation found in scripture is Acts 2:38. That is the only plan that is there. Nobody has been able to show me any other.
