When i got yahoo answers i loved going to the inmigration questions but know is always the same, asking the same questions, a bunch of Americans atacking and insluting mexicans and a bunch of mexicans insulting americans.
What had happened?
This forums are for discusing and asking not for insulting.
We need to change, the world needs to change, no more racism

Perhaps the stakes got higher.La Raza has reared its racist head and people are given uncalled for violations just because you oppose their view..I see racist questions from both sides ,I see hateful name calling, but I also see a great dialog going on .created by our differences. If some of the questions are offensive ignore them if you answer then its taken as attention, and those type of people thrive on it..I am against illegal immigration,I don't use derogatory names or racial terms but I am adamant in my stance.I hope you all stay on here and keep the dialog going sometimes the craziest thing can bring people together .

Don't know what you've been reading... I haven't seen a lot of racism regarding the illegals. There are a few, like the MexBand dude, that insult just to be annoying. It's not a complicated issue. We need an immigration policy that doesn't allow just anyone to enter this country any time that they feel like it. There should also be a way to cut the bureaucracy and allow people to immigrate in a reasonable fashion.

It has gotten so bad that I dont even look at questions about immigration, politics or religion anymore. Whats the point in arguing. In doing so the actual discussion gets lost. It is also said that it is an indication of a higher level of education when two opponents can have a peaceful discussion.

I have come to the same conclusion as you, it is a insult fest in here instead of adults discussing options for change.
There are alot of people that do nothing but bash races instead of trying to figure out how to end this the correct way. I am a firm believer in the illegals needing to go back and come in legally but all the crap back and forth is not helping, it is just making people more upset. especially the Mexicans. Making them madder is not making it cost us any less in taxes and health care, it just seems like they find more to cost us money.

I still like it here, even though I have had some difficult times with some people, I will remain and continue to ask & answer with my own particular viewpoint. The same as everyone else that enjoys this forum. If you do not like what I have to provide, look elswhere, dont attack me because I do not share your views.

This issue is more of a black and white issue - you either want a strict border approach or liberal one. This tends to bring out the stronger feelings in people since there is little room for compromise here.

I thought I had answered this question. How long have you been away? Wish there was a hiding place like yours that's so effective that it walls out the reality of the world.

Agreed. I don't understand why we can't have adult conversations and agree to disagree on the issues instead of insulting one another.
