Obviously I would try my best to just stand against these horrible people (no one's perfect, but I would do my best)...if I am put in such a situation, my purpose may be to show how strong my faith is to the rest of the world (which would hopefully impact some people, if only a few). Also, I'd rather be tortured to death by standing with Christ (then I would be with Him in heaven) than be released and live my entire life knowing that I have done such a horrible thing and that even though He may forgive me, I do not deserve such forgiveness, and my relationship with Him would never be the same.

I would pray to God to give me the strength to stay strong to him and put my complete faith and trust in him. That is what Christ did....he prayed to his Father to help him carry out his Father's will to the end. Being a follower of Christ, that is the exact way I would handle it. Christ said that we will be persecuted...that is a test of our faith....a test that might take our life...but what better way to die knowing that you maintain your faith in God....you endured until the end!!!
Believe it or not many Christians in various countries undergo should pressure now to denounce their faith. Some have had their lifes taken and others were release with a beaten because of their integrity. Regardlessly, both can be assured that they have God and Christ's backing. I want to be strong like them...

May God protect me from such a situation. But, if that is ever to happen, may He give me strength and courage to do what is right. I say now that I would rather die than renounce God or Christ. But when the cards are on the table... it impossible to know for sure. Peter denied Christ three times in one day.

I would stand stronger than ever, if you had excepted Jesus in your and stood by his teachings then i wouldn't deny the Lord not for them not for anybody regardless of what they did too me! I no that God would save me from there unrighteousness, He saved Daniel when he was thrown in the Lions Den, He saved Shadrach, Meshac, and Abednego when they were thrown into the fiery furnace ( Daniel 3:1-30), and i no that he would save me, whether he got me out of the situation or let me pass on i would be saved either way. Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are his! God Bless!

Meditate on the position in which the Jews, Muslims, and Pagans were put in during the Inquisition. History has a funny, and sad, way of repeating itself.
Either way, I'd probably die because I'd try to convince them of the error in their violent ways.

This one is easy. Peter was told by Jesus that he would deny Christ 3 times before morning and Peter insisted that he wouldn't. However to save his self, he did in dead deny Christ. In order to survive he made the sacrifice of word in order to live and teach others. He would have been no good dead. Fight or flight is an natural instinct. Where do you think we got those instincts.

The Holy Spirit, who dwells within me, cannot lie. I would never be able to deny Christ.

I would never deny Christ because I know what the Bible says about denying Him. I would rather die a torterous death than deny Him. I'd be praying the whole time.

It seems like the easy answer is the hardest one to to comply with but think on this old man named Job. He took his lumps and never thought twice about his choices.
