Y is it so hard for a guy to ask out a girl? what r they so afraid of really? and it makes me think, most people think that guys are stronger than girls and yet the girl has to do EVERYTHING!!!

It's because the male ego is very fragile and we have weak control of our emotions. Asking a girl out is putting our self in a situation where we can experience rejection and it's just easier to not do it. I have friends that will skydive, rock climb and constantly put their lives at risk but are afraid of girls. If a girl will drop a hint that they won't be turning down, it helps. Same with making the first move. Guys all want sex but we know that all women are different in this category so we tend to go very slow. You may have to make the first move but it's worth it. The ego boost knowing that we are actually wanted makes life much easier.

Maybe it's because of the fact that you keep openly admitting you're pretty. Most guys don't like girls who they think are full of themselves. The reason those other girls are getting all the attention, is because they are showing off their personalities, and not their looks. Guys like girls who are funny, and share some of the same interests as them. If you want a guy to notice you, talk to him casually about things you think he would be interested in. That will most definitely get his attention!

look some guys are a afraid of rejection others are not. For instance I'm at country western bar ( don't ask why) me and friends one of my friends was interested in this girl but was afraid to go talk her but I went over there and talked to both of them he still wouldn't come over. When I approach a girl I Iook at the surroundings if she looks at ease then I'm going for it but if she looks like she dosent want to be bothered I look for the next one. Some guys look for the girl to invite us. A smile walk pass us and say hi or a simple wave. Women get approached by guys everyday and women get tired of every guy hitting on them. Cause you approach women at wrong time you might get a mouthful.

Eh', I think girls are just as afraid of asking guys out as guys are of girls. You may hear about it more with guys though seeing as how some people still believe that the guy should be the one to ask the girl out.

Since when have guys been afraid to ask girls out? We've been doing it forever... and wasn't it women who wanted equality, well here it is. We're afraid of rejection just like every other person, how well we cope and handle rejection is probably correlated with how often we ask girls out. End.

Im not i can go up to a girl and start a convo...I guess some guys fear rejection... you really have to ask yourself howcome girls never go up to talk to a guy they are interested in when all his freinds are around??? pretty much the same reasons.

I personally am afraid of rejection. I have asked people out and went out with people but the people that you like the most always reject you and that hurts your self esteem

Well my son is like that and he is 25. But me I'm divorced and have women running out my ears. But if a girl doesn't like you, or wanna go out, then who cares. I got 20 that do.

cuz its intimidating. its not easy for a guy to ask out a girl. cuz how is he supposed to know how the girl will feel. some girls will humiliate a guy, and the whole school will know, and guys are afraid of that

Rejection is a painful thing....when you get older, it's even worse...when you put everything in to someone you love and get rejected, it hurts bad!!! Rejection makes you do things you regret
