Because christianity is a dominant religion. Lots of people believe, and people who believe do not want others to believe in something else. Thats why its "wrong"

I dont think religion matters as much as a personal relationship with God does. Christianity practices and teachings have more of an alignment with the bible which is probably why its such a major religion.

Mainstream religions would never say "you can believe in what other religions have to offer". If you have noticed, most people within those religions will insinuate that you can't believe in Truth, unless you first believe in their religion. Of course, if you told them the same thing, they would send you off to hell in a handbasket. There's no money or power in it if you give ppl a choice.

A religion can't be wrong. Only the way it is practiced. Whoever taught you that practicing other religions is wrong, was wrong.

Wrong is relative as long as the "religion" practiced does not harm others.
Of course a person so biased to believe that theirs is the only TRUE religion may need to rethink their mode of beliefs.

It's not. But if you follow the rules a Christianity, you have a much better chance of getting into heaven. Or at least that's what's supposed to happen...plenty of people misuse God's words and twist them. Just be a good person, and if you are a good person, God knows that. The commandments are good rules to go by, though, if you need help understanding some common laws to go by. Most religious groups have them. I know quite a few Atheists that are better people than some Christians I know.

its just the belief of the christian faith that it is wrong to believe or practice other religions....christinaity is actually a rather strict religion(sorry to those who i offened, but im christian myself) and like other ppl who are dissing us for being christian, what do you have to say to them??? we christians are not the only ones saying tha **** wrong not to be christians buddy....theres ppl out there telling us that is wrong to be christian, to our faces.....so, its an equal battle here(which shoudl jsut stop) but, christians just kidna think that our religion is the better religion, but then again, so does everyone else.........isnt that right???please tell me if its wrong!! its just that we emphasize on it more

All religion is wrong. Believe in GOD and treat others the way you want to be treated. Religious people are nothing but a bunch of phonies - trying to impress each other. In other words, GOD loves all people - so just be good.

Christianity is like a marriage. It's sacred , holy ,and chaste.I don't know if your married or not but if you are. Imagine your wife saying she was wanting to checkout a couple of new guys who just got in town.
