I like to have fun. If a guy has set a certain pattern how can it be changed?

When you first met him, he was the way he is now. If you wanted him to be someone else, you should have chosen someone else. Do you want him to try to change you?
Just because he's stuck in his ways, doesn't mean that you can't have fun. Find something that you both like to do and if there is nothing you both like then you do what you like and let him do what he likes.
My husband and I are totally different but we love each other so he goes fishing and hunting and I get involved in community activities.
When we were younger, he use to like to go to the bars with his friends and I stayed home with the kids but he always came home to me.
Everyone says we have the best relationship that they have ever seen so we must be doing something right.
He is high strung and I am easy going. He is a workaholic and I know how to relax but we both live and let live. He doesn't try to change me and I don't try to change him. He always says that just when he thinks he knows me, I change so he doesn't have to change me.

Stand up for yourself ,just because he is set in his ways does not mean you have to be like that ,you cant change him ,but you can stop him from pushing it on you good luck

AGREE!!!! if a guy is stuck in his own way of doing things and refuses to look at something differently, then why not?

depending on age sometimes it is not possible, but if he loves you truly, you can ask him to accept doing activities with you just because you like to do that. good luck.
