That all depends on what you want.
Poms are good companions and general "pets". Generally get along with other dogs and strangers.
Yorkies are better alarm dogs (bark at strangers etc..) but, like any terrier, may not like other dogs or strangers (including visitors).

Well, to answer your question more efficiently, the question I would have to ask you is if you worry about grooming, and grooming prices. Pomeranians and Yorkshire Terriers both require grooming, where as a Chihuahua if Short- Haired only requires Baths, Nail-Clipping, and Ear Cleaning. If the Chihuahua is long-Haired, it will then too need grooming. If grooming isn't a problem for you, I personally love Yorkies myself. They are Beautiful Canines, and have excellent dispositions.

Chihuahua--I own a 2 1/2 yr old short haired male--he sheds a bit but u have to keep the hair groomed of yorkies and pom's so they dont get mats in them

Yorkie hands down! In my experiences Chihuahuas have been mean and pomeranians don't do anything. Yorkies are super cute, adorable, smart, and one of the most loyal dogs ever.

I'm personally a poodle person because they don't shed and are soo smart and cute. Chihuahua's are supposed to be a little mean but u should just research the three of them in a book or the internet and see which one's better for you. here's some info from a book:
Chihuahua: intelligent and very loyal and attached, almost to the point of jealousy. Easy to groom and doesn't need much room
Pomeranian: 15 minute walk a day, easily trained, frequent brushing, doesn't need much room prone to diabetes, heart and eye problems
Yorkie: Alert, spirited, loyal, watch dog, prone to eye, hip and gum problems, doesn't need much room

I have had three Chihuahua's and all have been wonderful dogs so I am kinda partial to them (live long lives) our oldest past away at 18 years old, pomeraninans I have to say are a bit yippy in my opinion and I can't really say about yorkies except they are so darn cute and I would love to have one....

They're all good.
Pomeranians are the friendliest, Yorkies are more territorial and good watchdogs, Chihuahuas think they are Rottweilers.

poms are very cute, happy little dogs, chihuahua are land sharks they are also very cute i like this breed because of the mean streak they have. the Yorkie is a sweet little dog. pom need tons of grooming the Yorkie too the chihuahua if long haired will need grooming,but not as much as the pom.

I have a yorkie and he's alot of fun. He's really spunky. He doesn't really shake alot like those other breed do. And yorkies have regular hair and don't shed as much as dogs with fur. Good luck on whichever you choose!

I think a Pomeranian---they are sturdy little dogs who are stronger than they look! Plus, sooo cute!!
