okay, so my bf of like 7 months broke up wit me on the first day of school which was completely unexpected and his reasonings were rather lame like that he didnt want a relationship right now and that he just wanted to hang out with friends and stuff and then went on to tell me that he still loves me he just needs some time...and now hes telling me he wants to hang out and stuff and is all calling me hunny and such....I am really confused as to why he is doing this and I am just wondering if anyone knows a way to make this more clear to me because I am really hurt and dont know what to think.........so yah advice would be nice thanks!

I will never claim to understand men, or women for that matter, because everyone is different in their own way. However, I can tell you that I broke up with my ex and have had these problems where he does from hot to cold, calling me sweet and then wanting space, the best way I found to end it and to stop being confused was to confront him. I told him straight out, you are confusing me and hurting me. It turns out he didn't realize he was doing that. We talked about it, and he has since stopped and we are friends now. I don't know how it will work out for you, but I would just call him on it. Be nice about it of course, but nonetheless sit down and tell him what he is doing to you, if he still cares for you then he will listen and not want to do that.

He probably wanted to start the school year without a grildfriend so that he could keep his options open. Now that school has started, maybe the new prospects at school weren't all he was hoping for and now he wants to come back to what he knows. You should probably use this opportunity to date other people yourself. No sense in being tied down to one person, you are still young.

take back your power...
he is keeping you around until something else comes along... you're too young to allow your self to become one of those girls that fall for anything. get involved with school activities have fun meet new people..stay busy think about what it is that you want. I agree with the first answer you got as you can see now...
ask your self what it's worth to you...
what's your worth to you, are you willing to be a second thought at the last minute or do you want to be the first.

Sounds like he is keeping you around to keep options open. He doesn't truly want the girlfriend thing, but he may want companionship so he is sending you mixed signals so that you will hang around and hope you will get back together. Move on and find someone who is interested in you and wants to be around you.

If he told you he wants space then give it to him and find a guy to date. Don't let him confuse you. Make him beg for you back and by the time he does that you may not even want him back. Don't let assholes drag you down when there are good guys waiting.

Go ahead and stay freinds, but get yourself a guy who'll treat you like you want to be treated. He thought he'd be a playa this new schoolyear, but now he's regretting it. tough sh#t for him. Get a guy who wantsto be with you before, during and after school.
Don't settle for anything less than exactly what you want.
