i really need to know when my female pitbull is suppose to go into her first heat a round about time!!! HELP

Why is this such an emergency? Any time after six months, but it could be a year or later. It could happen earlier too. One of my Chihuahuas was in heat at 4 1/2 months.

Female Bitches are more than likely to go into heat from 4-6 months of age.

My golden went into her first heat cycle at five months!! I was not happy since we wanted to get her spayed before she went into heat and had an appointment scheduled for two weeks later. We had to reschedule her spaying!
