facts don't seem to do it. psychiatrist? hit on the head? pictures of those who been hurt? why don't they see why illegals can't come or stay? personal or not?

Hey Cowboy--
If the pro illegals are sooo determined to keep those illegals here, why not let the pro illegals sponsor an illegal (and their family if that applies). By sponsor, they personally can take care of their housing, food and health care for them. As long as they have their American sponsor they won't have to take steps to legally become a citizen--but would be 'documented' as "sponsored aliens" and therefore can stay legally. Sounds like a sensible solution. They want them here--they can pay for them. And--there will be some documentation and no one is breaking our laws so everybody is happy.

It's so funny and ironic that some conservatives have an issue with 'illegals'. Do you know what this has done? Bush was actually approved by and had much support from the legal Latino voters for his religious stands. Now those voters, who may have been the group that gave Bush his two slim presidential victories, are scared for their family. The rhetoric from some conservatives has pushed them away from the Repub party to the point that some will now vote Democrat. Tides are turning.

Some pro illegals need to find out, in one way or another, illegal immigrants coming in to this country hurt American citizens.. You end up paying tax dollars for their children to go to school, while you only want to pay for your own children's education. Truth is that until immigration affects them directly, as it has many people, they won't see that illegal immigration is wrong.

what does it take for those who are anti to recognize that without illegals, our economy gets seriously hurt.
as long as we have jobs to fill they will come.
would you kid do the backbreaking these people start out doing.
have you done concrete work, field work?
i have, and i would starve if i had to do it again.
this is an emotionally charged subject that neither side seems willing ot look at both sides of the picture.

More money is being wasted on prisons in this country than anything else and they're full of blacks and whites mostly. Most of them get parolled and end up in Jerry Springer!
