Does anyone know.......................?

I'm in band, and I can play the trumpet, and french horn. Now for jazz band he wants me to play trombone, and I was wondering if it's scales were similar to either of the instruments i already play. if nobody can help, i will give a best answer to the first person to answer.

i dont kno trombone are well huge and ugly
