Whether Baptist, Methodist, or anything else, remember these are only denominations which separate people. Anyone can receive the free gift of everlasting life. It is a personal choice which has nothing to do with being Baptist.

I'm Baptist. :o) Yes!

John 3: 15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Ephesians 2: 8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It is free and it is eternal to those who believe.

They have good solid beliefs when it comes to Jesus Christ but they fall short in the following areas.........

1. Baptism- You have to be baptized in order to identify yourself as a believer. Baptism is mentioned over 100 times in NT. Jesus spent much of his ministry time doing it. Would Jesus waste time on something that was "symbolic but ultimately meaningless?"

2. Eternal security- Ah that old doctrine of "Once saved always saved." How many verses do we see warnings to Christians to do what is right so we dont forfeit our salvation? Good works is not optional. Jesus said there will be people attempting to get into Heaven which talked the talk and didnt walk the walk and they will be denied entrance! (Matthew 7:22) Teaching youre never in danger of losing the gift God gave you is a 1 way ticket to idleness.

Of course, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved....

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ

" I am the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live ; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die". - Jesus (Jn. 11:25)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)am

sure, that factor is right; the crucifixion had no longer taken place so what Jesus mentioned with reference to the father giving His in basic terms begotten Son would desire to no longer have been totally understood via Nicodemus. He would have picked up on the declare to deity Jesus substitute into making yet till the resurrection, no person would have imagined what substitute into in touch in that 'giving'. whether, Nicodemus substitute right into a instructor in Israel and he would desire to have familiar his scriptures better. those scriptures blanketed Psalm 87 with its unusual saying approximately foreigners being written in God's 'e book' that they've been actual born in Zion (whilst they have been bodily born outdoors of Israel). to hold close context, we would desire to place ourselves contained in the footwear of Nicodemus. of course, Christians have the excellent factor approximately now information how salvation substitute into achieved via the Messiah and this money owed for his or her specific way of finding at such texts. As for John the Baptist - why does no longer he use valid language to talk of Christ by using fact the Lamb of God? merely considering you don't get on with a team of religionists does no longer mean you view each and everything they say and do as incorrect! John knew the sacrifices of lambs substitute into God's way of coaching human beings something of the enormity of sin and the choose for the laying off of blood to compensate for sin. John substitute into packed with the Holy Spirit precise from his mom Elizabeth's womb. John substitute into speaking prophetically, and to Jews who have been engaged contained in the temple device of sacrifices. The apostle John additionally had a imaginitive and prescient of the resurrected Christ by using fact the Lamb of God, status contained during God's throne in heaven, like a Lamb that were slaughtered (Rev. 5:6). It takes time to collate each and all of the main significant factors surrounding a textual content textile. some human beings merely choose to take short-cuts yet it relatively is by no potential a sturdy theory!
