Should we racially profile white people?

Since the federal government considers people of Middle Eastern and Arab descent as white. Shouldn't all white people be treated like people from the Middle East and Arabs?

I find it funny that a lot of white people are against this idea but when it comes to profiling blacks or Arabs you guys are all for it.

Some of you need to become informed and look at the federal definitions of race and see who belongs to which race according to your federal government!!

And it’s real sad some of you could not formulate an argument so you just call me a racist. I have far more white friends than any of you have black or Arab. As a matter of fact I'm about to go hang out with 3 white guys, 1 Arab, and one other black.

But genetically jews and arabs are the same - so maybe just them? Most indonesians who are Muslims are Asiatic, so just the Asians then? and an awful lot of North Africans are Muslim because the Arabs made them into slaves. You do however, choose to belong to a religion, and choose to be ignorant. So religious profiling is in order. But go ahead and treat white people like Arabs (I doubt you can tell them apart anyhow), bow down to their wishes, worry that you might offend them, coddle all their beliefs (even when their religion promotes child rape and slavery), respect them when they speak (even when they call for your blood), imagine some kinship exists. By the way those same Arabs put down 'african descent' when they apply to colleges and for educational loans. And that, judging by your profile, is taking money from you, and you sorely seem in need of the education. The majority of Muslims are Asiatic. The majority of Arabs are Muslim.

I have a feeling you're not really asking but...

Profiling as it's done in Isreal doesn't have as much to do with one's apparent nationality but rather their behavior. While the US is quite behind in this (mostly because people fight against it as being "unconstitutional") they are coming around. I'd say, not fast enough and it's not just looking Middle Eastern people. My very white friend from Ohio gets stopped at airports all the time and we can only assume it's because of his dreadlocks.

Any group of people linked in any way to any sort of crime should be profiled regardless of their race or color. A good example: Who would you search coming onto an airplane, some little old lady about 90, or a young Arab that was acting strangely? The odds of catching a criminal increase dramatically when the person most likely to perpetrate the crime is profiled.

Whites are racially profiled. Whenever a white person is in a black neighborhood, police assume they're looking for drugs and pull them over and question them.

I see you have little experience with Arab and middle eastern people. They are DEFINIATELY not white as a group. Some palestinians are light colored, but their complexition is not the same.

The people you're referring to are for profiling people by COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, not race. 19 of the 911 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. You fail to understand the difference between country profiling and race profiling.

Before leaving a store to go to my car I always check who is around. If I see a group of young guys of any race I look a them twice before venturing toward my car. If I see 2 little old ladies, I proceed without hesitation. If I see 2 or 3 nicely dressed men of any race I am only slightly more cautious than I am toward the little old ladies. In either case I am aware but I am most wary of groups of youngster in general. I thus profile all the time when in public.

what's baffling to me is the very reality the President made a remark, in any respect. even although the President is pals with Mr. Gates, this complete incident is so, none of his business enterprise!! His proper reaction to questions ought to were; "....this remember is maximum proper left between the community authorities and Mr. Gates to address and that i favor anybody worried nicely - next question??". the authentic. Well shoot....we already have to check a box on employment forms that says White not of Hispanic Origin...does it get any more ridiculous than that....we can't even be white any more.

I'm so busy when I am on duty, I don't have TIME to profile anyone. We run back to back for the entire shift, then spend a couple of hours at the desk finishing paperwork and filing reports.
