Stock your bar with the right martini glasses, shakers, and other martini equipment with the correct proportion of martini ingredients, and your sour apple martini recipes will leave your guests impressed.

Skimp on the ingredients, load your bar with plastic instead of martini glasses, and mix your drinks in jugs instead of legitimate martini shakers, and your sour apple martinis will leave your guests distressed.

Martini connotes an entire experience, including, but much bigger than, a mere list of ingredients, shakers, and bar philosophies. Martini recipes are merely the blueprint - style is the architect.

Head out to the orchard and pick a few. Who knew getting your fruit could be this fun and tasty?

Mixing glass, half full with ice, add 60mls vodka and 30mls apple sour, shake. Put 10mls of rosso vermouth into your martini glass, then pour in the vodka and apple sour mix. Garnish with a slice of green apple. If this is to alcoholic replace some of the vodka and sour apple with fresh apple juice. (drink safe and have fun)

When I make apple martinis at home I like to use more apple pucker than vodka because I like them on the sweet and fruity side. At work (I bartend) I use two thirds vodka to one third apple pucker. Shake it about 7-10 times and strain it into a chilled cocktail glass.

eesh, don't listen to that other stuff:

1 splash of vermouth in a chilled glass and swirl,
2 oz of vodka,
1 slice of granny smith rubbed around the rim and drowned in the middle.
