your dog is very bored, get some new toys, another dog maybe heheh..I did, and long walks. walks will really help.

A friend with a Golden said she put the dogs stools in the places the dog was digging and that stopped it.

They dig when they are bored or when its hot outside to create a cool nest in the ground. If you want to keep them from digging in around valuable plants, put a small loaded mousetrap near the plant. After it snaps once or twice they will avoid the plant, or anything else that has a mousetrap near it. You won't even need to load the mousetrap in the future.

Shake black pepper all over the area she likes to dig, if possible. It sounds crazy but it immediately stopped my dog from tunneling to the center of the earth.

Take her for walks ,A dog is like a kid if they have nothing to do they will find things to do and digging is one of them

Try burying a water balloon where it digs. The sound and water may discourage digging.
