how do i download music from i tunes onto my IPOD?

After uve had all your music on your itunes (prior to this you'd have to configure it to your ipod). Just plug in the USB into your computer and your ipod, and, wallah, it get automatically updated.

Go to the help section of your itunes.. there are instructions there to help you.
